How to Apply
The ߲ݴý of the Theatre accepts applications on a rolling basis for all programs. Applications are reviewed as they are received and remain open until each program reaches capacity. Because we are a small, selective conservatory, early application is strongly encouraged.
Applicants may apply to the Two-Year Professional Actor Training Program [2YC], the Six-Week Summer Intensive [6WK], or the Pre-College Conservatory [PCC]. Please note that Summer 2026 programs are already underway or at capacity, and the timelines below reflect the upcoming academic year.

Centennial Class Opportunity
Students entering the Fall 2026 Two-Year Conservatory will have the opportunity to earn an invitation into The ߲ݴý Centennial graduating class of 2028.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become part of the history of this storied institution.
Program Timelines
Two-Year Professional Actor Training Program [2YC]
- Orientation required: Thursday, September 10, 2026
- Program begins: Monday, September 14, 2026
- Early enrollment deadline for discounted tuition consideration: February 17, 2026
Six-Week Summer Intensive [6WK]
- Orientation required: Monday, June 7, 2027
- Program begins: Tuesday, June 8, 2027
- Program concludes: Friday, July 16, 2027
- Applications accepted on a rolling basis
Pre-College Conservatory [PCC]
- Orientation and program begin: Monday, July 19, 2027 at 9:00am
- Program concludes: Saturday, August 7, 2027

Application Process
Apply Online
Submit the required application materials through the online application form.
Artistic Review
If selected, complete an Artistic Review, interview, or audition with the school via Zoom.
Prepare Monologue
Applicants selected for an Artistic Review will be asked to prepare a 1–2 minute contemporary monologue.

Required Materials
All applicants must submit the following:
- Completed online application form
- Personal statement, up to 250 words, explaining why you wish to study at The ߲ݴý
- One personal letter of recommendation, character reference
- One professional letter of recommendation, work ethic or artistic reference
- Current photo, headshot not required
- Official transcript or diploma, high school or highest degree obtained
- Résumé, optional
Transcript Notes
- Transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution.
- Applicants are responsible for requesting and arranging that submission.
- Partial college transcripts that do not confirm graduation are not accepted.
- High school seniors may submit after graduation.

Application fees are payable upon completion of the online application.

International Applicants
International applicants, non-U.S. citizens or non-green card holders, should be aware that the F-1 Student Visa process typically takes 30–90 days. Canadian citizens may be eligible for an expedited timeline.
International applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early and to contact Admissions for guidance prior to submitting an application.
Veteran Applicants
The ߲ݴý proudly welcomes veteran applicants. Members of the armed services are an important part of the school’s history and community. Veteran applicants receive support throughout the application, admissions, and benefits process, including assistance from a designated administrator.
