Reduce the spread of viruses in the office and around you

As the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has spread worldwide, things may seem scary. Here are some simple office cleanliness tips that will help you reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria in your workplace.

Clean up after yourself

Unwashed dishes and leftover foods are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. No one likes dealing with a mess left behind by a previous coworker, so make sure to wash your own dishes, toss your coffee cup and spare napkins before leaving.

Disinfect personal and communal surfaces.

Keeping all surfaces clean is an essential part of a virus-free office. Our desktops, keyboards, phones and tables can harbour a lot of bacteria. These surfaces should be routinely cleaned with a disinfecting solution.

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water

One of the best ways to make sure we don’t catch any viruses when cleaning our workspace is by washing our hands regularly. And avoid touching your face!

Seek medical attention promptly if you are not well, wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms

Get treated early and be socially responsible by staying away from the workplace to avoid spreading the germs to your coworkers.

Practice good personal hygiene at all times

Good personal hygiene is the first step to good health and also shields those around you from suffering illnesses that arise from poor personal habits. They make you feel good about yourself and keep you free of bacteria, viruses, and illnesses. So give yourself some love and stay clean!
